Misery and Comfort

Today, we got talking about how Jessica wears her favorite slippers every where. She said she Loves those slippers because they are extra comfortable. I joked with her about getting a little too comfortable on chemo days when we head to the hospital. I usually dress up and she always dresses down. .........WAY down.

One day I said, "Why do you practically put on pajamas to go to your chemo treatments?"

Jessica said, "hey, if you're going to be miserable, you might as well be comfortable."

That is my new favorite saying. The next time I'm feeling so miserable I'm putt'n on the softest, fluffiest most comfy clothes and I don't care if they match or not.

Here's to comfortable suffering.

    OH MAN, I love that saying and there's a ton of truth to it too. Way to go Jessica. You are teaching your parents and grandparents a ton of really good stuff.
