This song sums it up for us. We are so grateful for the challenges that come our way to allow us the opportunity to grow and be grateful for the great abundance we have.

Jessica got sick last Monday with a sore throat and a fever. Doctors were concerned that she may need to be hospitalized, but she had her Dad and our neighbor give her a priesthood blessing. The fever stopped climbing and she recovered fully without hospitalization. Another mighty miracle to add to her list. Doctors are pretty baffled that she has hair, that she has escaped the many transfusions that most cancer patients routinely get, and that she has not had any incident with infection yet .........even with her ability to fight infection gone.
Jessica went in for all day scans on Thursday. Doctors say the tumors are not detectable, but that she most likely still has billions of cancer cells throughout her body that she must fight. Her treatments will still be every three weeks until summer of 2012. We went for chemo on Monday and Jessica had the opportunity to show off her full head of hair and also visit with a sweet friend (also with Lymphoma). She continues to press forward through this bump in her life. There are still good and bad days, but her spirits are so positive. We count our blessings every day and know that the Lord has a specific plan for her.
Jessica met up with her friend MaKenzie (a friend we have made at the Cancer clinic) while getting chemo. They share a lot in common.........Including some of the same poisons going into their veins today. It's so nice to have someone who you can relate to when going through a tough time. These two shared a few laughs about all the little things chemo patients deal with.
EVERYONE wanted to touch Jessie's head. Full head of new hair..........Just can't resist it. It's as soft as brand new baby hair.
