We dropped Reagan off at the Airport on Wednesday at 5:00 am. The Airport was pretty crowded and busy, so we stood in line with him until it was time to go through security and then said our good bye's. Reagan was so eager to go. He has been mentally and physically ready for the past 3 days. I could tell that the last few days were just killing him to sit and mill around here. So happy for that guy. A little sad for us who must be left with the void........but happy for him.
The Walker family from South Jordan, Our friends that we call family, picked up Reagan from the Airport in Salt Lake City. they took him home, fed him well, played with him, and gave him the red carpet treatment all the way to the MTC that afternoon.

Reagan saying good bye to some of the Walker family in Provo. I can testify that this made Reagan's day to get to see them all one last time before leaving for 2 years. Man we love these guys.
And the Adventure begins....................
Got a call yesterday from an old friend (actually a friend since birth). She is a volunteer at the MTC and her job is to help check in the new missionaries. She got a visual check of all 300 Elders on Wednesday. Turns out, she recognized Reagan from his name and his face and had a nice little chat with him upon checkin. She said he was calm and peaceful. He seemed confident and ready to begin. To our friends who took part in this most important day with Reagan, You will have no idea how much peace of mind these pictures and stories bring to a worrying mother who would have given anything to be a fly on the wall yesterday in Reagan's world.
No doubt, he is ready. He will learn so much. He'll experience much more than he would had he stayed.
Still doesn't make it any easier to say good bye.
